Healthcare leaders, pharmaceutical manufacturers, policymakers, investors and medical technology experts from across Africa and beyond are expected to gather in Accra for the 5th edition of the West Africa Pharma and Healthcare Expo 2026.Demographics
The three-day event, scheduled for June 8–10, 2026 at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) Auditorium, aims to strengthen collaboration, investment and innovation within Africa’s healthcare ecosystem.
Organised in collaboration with Astrovision Global FZCO of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and India’s ACE Group, the expo will be held under the theme: “Advancing Healthcare. Connecting Africa.”
According to organisers, the event is expected to attract more than 100 exhibitors, over 3,000 participants and delegations from more than 10 countries, creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing, business partnerships and healthcare sector growth.
A major component of the expo will be a healthcare conference scheduled for June 8, where industry leaders, policymakers and healthcare professionals will deliberate on key issues shaping the future of healthcare delivery in Africa.Aviation industry reports
Discussions will focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing and development, artificial intelligence applications in diagnostics and healthcare delivery, digital health transformation, health system strengthening, healthcare investment opportunities and the integration of herbal and traditional medicine into healthcare systems.
Medical technologies and healthcare innovation will also feature prominently in deliberations.
Organisers said the conference will include high-level panel discussions designed to address emerging healthcare challenges and identify practical solutions for strengthening healthcare systems across the continent.Health
The expo itself will showcase innovations spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, laboratory technologies, healthcare information systems, digital health solutions, dental products, herbal medicines and wellness technologies.
The event is expected to provide direct engagement opportunities between healthcare institutions, investors, policymakers, regulators, development partners and global industry players.
